Cathay Chinese Food

Really good food for fast Chinese food. The value of the food, quality, and portion is definitely worth it. They serve huge portions compared to Panda Express. Prices are very reasonable here. We also like their milk tea with boba (large tapioca balls).

Yum! Tasty Chinese food!! Different from other fast Chinese food places, but in a good way. The Orange Chicken was not heavily breaded and was made with large, juicy chicken; it has a nice thin crispy outside and delicious sauce. I also had the Garlic Spice Chicken. This was a pleasant change if you like spicy, garlicky and sweet all in one, yum!! The Chicken Egg rolls were a nice treat too; loved the crunchy cabbage in it as well. To drink I had the Thai Iced-tea. Deliciously creamy and sweet. Perfect match with the Garlic Spice Chicken. The portions are huge! Enough to feed two people in one meal. The staff here are super friendly!

A typical Chinese takeaway restaurant, great tasty food. Most authentic taste with chef from Taiwan. Super hugh portion & most important, at a pocket relax cost. Chance upon it today. Happy, fulfilling & will definitely return. "Personal preference only" it's must be cheaper than China Wok or Food Panda, probably it's because it is served by their very friendly store owner, Mandarin speaking too. Lol just make me feel at home.

Located on Antelope & Newport Roads in the Ralph's shopping center, by Ross with plenty of parking. This is a fast-Chinese food restaurant where you pick your items at the counter, buffet style (which is what I was looking for). I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews, which makes no sense. I had their 2-item combo with 'BBQ Pork, Orange Chicken, Fried Rice, and Lo Mein'. Their BBQ Pork was very tender and the Orange Chicken was actual chunks of chicken which were not extremely battered and fried like the common recipe. The Lo Mein and Fried Rice were a bit bland for my taste, but they complemented the meat perfectly because they were so tasty, and delicious! Prices are very reasonable, and portions are big. Service was fast and efficient even though I went during busy hours this Saturday evening. There are a few tables inside and a couple of tables outdoors to enjoy your meal there. I had a great experience here and will definitely return to try other menu items.

We really noticed a huge improvement with the good during this visit. My husband hasn't been liking it for a while..but we were to tired to cook and to tired to drive far to get food. So we decided to just go to Cathay. Our son and his wife were visiting and we were all pleasantly surprised at how good the good was. We all thought maybe they hired someone new... something happend and its back to being the best Chinese food in this area. This area does not have many good Chinese food options. In fact this area doesn't have the greatest food options period. Come on Menifee/Winchester you can do better. We have more than enough McDonald's, Jack n the Box, and Del Tacos. Can we get some different options. Maybe even a couple Vegan options for those of us trying to eat healthier. Just a thought

This is my aunt’s favorite restaurant, and the restaurant has been at this location for many years. We enjoyed a variety of dishes and all were very good. From egg rolls to fried rice to a variety of chicken dishes all the food was very good. The staff are very pleasant and efficient. The prices are reasonable and they offer a variety of serving size options. A good restaurant between Chinese fast food and made to order. Excellent place.
